Case Studies · Live Systems

We eat our own cooking.

Most agencies show you logos and quote cards. We show you live systems — platforms we designed, built and run, with our own name on them. Below: twelve build stories — the problem, the build, the strange part, and what each one proves about working with us.

No stock testimonials. No invented logos. Some client work lives behind NDAs; our own products don't. That's why the proof here is the kind you can poke.
HealthWoosh — omnichannel pharmacy platform healthwoosh.com In production
Regulated Healthcare

HealthWoosh

Omnichannel pharmacy platform

The problem

A pharmacy is a stream of interruptions wearing a business as a disguise — scripts, phone calls, walk-ins and compliance paperwork, all competing for the same few humans, all day.

The build

An omnichannel pharmacy platform: mobile app, appointment booking and patient communications working as one system — built to healthcare's standards, not tech-demo standards.

The strange part

Pharmacy doesn't forgive. A missed message isn't a bug ticket — it's a patient. Everything is designed for the day things go wrong, not for the demo.

What it proves for you

We ship in regulated, zero-tolerance environments — and we've been doing exactly that, in pharmacy, for over a decade.

HomeWoosh — AI home-buying and renting platform homewoosh.com In production
Consumer AI · PropTech

HomeWoosh

AI home-buying & renting platform

The problem

Buying or renting a home in Ireland is a part-time job: documents in nine places, banks with nine opinions, agents who needed your paperwork yesterday — and most families running it on a shared folder and hope.

The build

An AI platform for the whole journey: affordability planning, bank comparison, a success predictor — and a document engine where files never leave the family's own Google Drive. Agents get a tracked, revocable doorway, not a copy. We call it doors, not storage.

The strange part

The hard problem wasn't the AI — it was trust. Magic-link sign-in with two-factor auth, per-agent access that auto-revokes, and receipts for who saw what. Privacy isn't a checkbox here; it's the feature.

What it proves for you

We design consumer-grade AI products where the data architecture is the moat — useful and private at the same time.

Ulysses32 — self-hosted AI agent platform ulysses32.com In production
The Harness, Productised

Ulysses32

Self-hosted AI agent platform

The problem

Everyone wants AI in the business. Almost nobody wants the business in someone else's cloud.

The build

A self-hosted AI agent platform — a crew of configurable agents with voice, memory and tools, shipped as a Docker image that runs on hardware you own. Wake-word and all.

The strange part

Making powerful AI run privately, on your own machine, without a team of engineers babysitting it. That one constraint shaped every design decision in the product.

What it proves for you

The AI Harness isn't a slide in our deck — we productised it. Owned, private intelligence is something we ship, not something we promise.

Child Rescue Ireland — community safety platform Community safety In production
Civic-grade · Cannot Fail Quietly

Child Rescue Ireland

Community safety alert platform

The problem

When a child goes missing, the first minutes matter most — and an alert that sits unread on a sleeping phone might as well not exist.

The build

A community safety platform: a citizen app and an operator portal, with push delivery engineered like infrastructure — escalating re-delivery until acknowledged, catch-up nets for phones that slept, receipts for what actually arrived.

The strange part

Modern phones actively fight background delivery to save battery. We engineered around the throttling — and matched it with the data-protection controls a public-safety system demands: strict retention, permanent deletion, encrypted off-site backups.

What it proves for you

When the brief is “this cannot fail quietly,” we engineer to that standard — delivery, privacy, audit trail and all.

HiveXP — gamified AI training platform hivexp.ai In production
AI Upskilling · SaaS

HiveXP

Gamified AI training platform for business

The problem

Most AI training is a webinar people forget by Friday. Teams don't need another lecture — they need reps, momentum, and proof they're actually getting better.

The build

A gamified AI-upskilling platform: structured learning paths, hands-on challenges and progress a manager can actually see — built for Irish businesses and run as a live SaaS. It's the training arm of this lab.

The strange part

Making learning sticky. Gamification is easy to sprinkle and hard to make matter — points and streaks only work when they're wired to real skills, not vanity.

What it proves for you

We don't just build the machine — we train the humans who'll run it. Adoption is half of every AI project, and we own that half too.

SceneCrew — AI video director platform scenecrewai.com In production
Creative AI · Video

SceneCrew

AI video director platform

The problem

Video is the most persuasive medium and the most expensive to make. A director, a crew, an editor — most businesses get none of them.

The build

An AI video director — script to screen through an agent pipeline that plans the scenes, directs the generation and assembles the cut.

The strange part

Taste. Generating clips is easy; making them cut together like someone meant it is the hard part. The “director” isn't a metaphor — it's the architecture.

What it proves for you

The creative half of the lab is real. We build AI that makes things people actually watch — not just things that technically work.

CryptoBro — AI trading engine Trading engine In production
Data · Decisions

CryptoBro

AI trading engine that grades its own calls

The problem

Markets don't care about your feelings — and most “AI trading” is astrology with a dashboard.

The build

An AI trading engine that predicts, learns and grades its own calls. Every prediction is logged, scored against what actually happened, and fed back into the next decision.

The strange part

Honesty as architecture. The system keeps a ledger of when it was wrong — because a model that can't see its own misses can never improve.

What it proves for you

We build AI that measures itself. The same self-grading discipline gets wired into your business systems, so you always know if the machine is earning its keep.

HealthyChoice — AI shopping planner Mobile commerce Lab build
Health AI · Commerce

HealthyChoice

AI shopping planner

The problem

Everyone knows what healthy eating looks like. Almost nobody can turn it into this week's actual shopping basket.

The build

An AI shopping planner that turns health goals into real baskets — intent in, shoppable plan out, on mobile.

The strange part

Bridging intention and checkout. Health advice is generic; baskets are personal. The AI has to live in the gap between the two.

What it proves for you

Consumer AI with commerce wired in — advice that ends in a transaction, not a pamphlet.

Citizen OS — AI citizen platform Community platform Lab build
Civic · Community

Citizen OS

AI citizen platform

The problem

Communities run on noticeboards, WhatsApp chaos and one overworked volunteer who knows everything.

The build

An AI citizen platform — community information, services and participation in one place, with AI doing the heavy lifting instead of the volunteer.

The strange part

Designing for everyone. A citizen platform has no “target user” — it has to be obvious to all of them, first try, no manual.

What it proves for you

We build for broad, non-technical audiences — not just trained staff who'll forgive a clunky screen.

Pharmacy Appointments — booking and scheduling software healthwoosh.com/appointments In production
Vertical Software · Healthcare

Pharmacy Appointments

Booking & scheduling software

The problem

Pharmacies now deliver services — vaccinations, consultations, health checks — on infrastructure designed for none of it: the phone.

The build

Booking and scheduling software pharmacies run their day on — services, slots and reminders, with walk-in chaos turned into a calendar.

The strange part

A pharmacy schedule isn't a calendar — it's a negotiation between regulation, staffing and walk-ins. The software has to know the difference.

What it proves for you

Deep vertical software. We don't skim a domain and ship generic — we live in it until the edge cases are the spec.

Strange Materials — AI lead-capture platform strangematerials.com In production
White-label · The Demo Is The Product

This Very Site

AI lead-capture, quoting & CRM platform

The problem

Agency websites are brochures that end in a contact form nobody enjoys — and then a human retypes it all into a CRM.

The build

The site you're reading, productised: Ray's scanner captures the lead, AI drafts the assessment and the quote, a human signs off, and the back office handles invoicing and CRM. Available white-label.

The strange part

Eating our own cooking in public. The marketing site is the product demo — if Ray's bad, you'll know before we do.

What it proves for you

End-to-end commercial machines — capture to quote to cash — not just a pretty front with a mailto behind it.

AI Avatars — realtime avatar experiences Realtime avatars Concept · underway
Frontier · Projects Underway

AI Avatars

Realtime AI avatar experiences

The problem

Chat is fine. But some experiences need a face — a guide, a greeter, a coach that looks back at you.

The build

Realtime AI avatar experiences — lifelike heads, voice and personality, streamed live. Concept work, with client projects underway.

The strange part

Latency is the uncanny valley's bouncer. An avatar that pauses a beat too long stops being a person — every millisecond is a design decision.

What it proves for you

We work at the frontier before it's safe — so when you ask for it, we've already built it once.
